Jonah...He continues to grow and progress in his quiet, unassuming way. He is a lover of all things pokemon because Backugan is SO last year, monopolizes the iTouch--I believe any and all "free" games available have been downloaded, creates worlds and characters of unknown quantities that are tucked into the myriad corners of a vast imagination, and loves nothing more than to be good. Interestingly, this year he's added a streak of mischieviousness and embraced his ability to play the "youngest child" card when needed. Luckily he has a great sense of humor, and takes the chastisements with grace...little bugger.
He's been enriched with trips to Utah, Tennessee, Florida (Jonah and Mom have found a perfect beach house in Neptune Beach where you can walk from cottage to pool to beach to ocean in that order!), and finally, Nascar--yes, a world of it's own right here in Charlotte. (He was impressed for all of about 30 minutes, then ready to leave).
He is in third grade this year, math being his cup of tea. He is self-contained but snuggly, driven but playful, dogmatic but understanding, conscientious but laid-back...at peace with his world...and usually with his sister.
