Inspirations

Christien wrote the following:

Lame men walk,
And blind men see.
Prayers of devotion
Sent to Thee.

Those alone,
Lost in the night
But carried by Him
Brought to the light.

And now,
In latter days,
We send His message,
In shining rays.

In response,
The wicked lear,
Though in their hearts
There's naught but fear.

For they who wish
Come join our fold,
The Church of Christ,
Like that of old.

Take the straight
Of paths to roam,
And at life's end,
We shall go home.

Christien's sensitive spirit inspires us. His desire to be good and righteous is humbling. He continues to always keep "the bigger picture" forefront in his mind. However, there is no one that can get us laughing so hysterically that we can't even say a family prayer other than Christien!
He's been accepted into a magnet school called Central Academy of Technology & Arts and he plays the clarinet in the band there. He fell in love with BYU when we took a tour during our Park City, Utah trip. He was homesick during the trip to Austria but soaked up the new experiences like a sponge. He is 15 now and will soon have his driver's permit!
