The irony of my son Jake is that despite being such a constant, steadfast, dependable personality, in none of my kids' lives has change been more obvious than in his! Jake is over 6 feet tall, and at 16 years old, is now driving to school, seminary, scouts, etc. He continues to be the "uber-student" with the highest GPA in his school and by this May will be exactly half-way to his Associates degree of Science and 1 class shy of his high school diploma...Yes, we are considering DNA testing to see if indeed, he was switched at birth. I know you were all wondering...
Highlights from his year include many scholastic awards at the end of his 10th grade year, a fabulously fun family reunion in Park City, Utah in June, and in August he spent a couple weeks in Austria, just he and Christien with an international youth group put together by Mark's company, biking throughout the country.
